Content policy
Last updated 5 November 2026
Pixie Studio is for making things people love. These rules keep it safe and welcoming. They apply to everything you type, upload, make, publish or remix here, and they're part of our Terms of Service.
The short version
Make things you'd be happy to put your name on. Don't use Pixie Studio to hurt, deceive or exploit anyone, and respect other people's faces, voices and work.
Pixie Studio is for adults, and adult content is allowed in your own work, as long as it never goes anywhere public. Some checks are automatic: we screen Recipes before they go public, and the AI models we use turn down some requests on their own.
What's not allowed
Sexual content involving minors
Zero tolerance. Never make, upload, request or share sexual or sexualized content involving anyone under 18, real or fictional. That includes drawings, animation, AI-made images and characters who look like children. We remove it, close the account for good, and report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).
Adult content in public
Adult and sexual content is fine in your own work, as long as everyone in it is an adult and it follows the rest of this policy. It can never be public: don't publish it as a Recipe, use it as a Recipe's example, or put it anywhere other people can see it on Pixie Studio. If a Recipe shows it, we take the Recipe off Trends. Many AI models also turn down adult requests on their own.
Intimate imagery and sexual deepfakes of real people
Never make, upload or share intimate or sexual images, video or audio of a real person, with or without their consent. That includes deepfakes that put someone's face, body or voice into sexual content, and edits that “undress” a photo. Sharing intimate images of someone without their consent hurts people, and in many places it's a crime.
Hate and harassment
Don't attack, demean or dehumanize people for who they are, such as their race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, caste, disability, illness, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation or age. Don't bully, threaten, humiliate or stalk anyone, share their private information, or rally others against them.
Glorified violence
No content that celebrates or promotes real-world violence or cruelty to people or animals, makes threats, or supports terrorist or violent extremist groups. No gore for shock value, and nothing that encourages suicide, self-harm or eating disorders. Action, fantasy and cartoon fights are fine.
Illegal activity
Don't use Pixie Studio to break the law or to help anyone else break it: for example fraud, selling drugs or weapons, human trafficking, or instructions for causing serious harm.
Spam and scams
No scams, phishing, fake giveaways or get-rich-quick schemes, and no flooding Trends with copies, misleading titles or examples, or fake engagement. Don't use bots or extra accounts to farm free Sparks, remixes or royalties.
Intellectual property infringement
Only upload and publish material you own or have permission to use. Don't use Pixie Studio to copy other people's art, photos, music, video, characters, brands or logos in ways that infringe their rights.
Deceptive impersonation of real people
Don't pretend to be someone you're not, or use AI media of a real person to mislead people, such as fake statements, fake endorsements, fake news or fake evidence. Use a real person's face or voice only if it's you or you have their permission. When you share realistic AI media elsewhere, label it as AI-made where the platform asks you to.
These examples aren't the whole list. If something is harmful in a way this page doesn't name, we may still act on it.
Public Recipes
Recipes are public and anyone can remix them, so they get a closer look. We screen a Recipe's images and text before it goes on Trends, and anything that doesn't pass stays off. Don't put anyone's private information in a public Recipe, or a real person who hasn't agreed to be in it.
Reporting
See a Recipe that breaks these rules? Open it and press Report, then pick the reason that fits best and add a note if you like. You need to be signed in, you can report each Recipe once, and its creator won't see who reported it. The reasons are:
- Sexual content involving minors
- Non-consensual or intimate imagery of a real person
- Adult or sexual content
- Hate or harassment
- Violence
- Spam or scam
- Copyright
- Something else
A report of sexual content involving minors takes a Recipe off Trends straight away. For any other reason, a Recipe that several people report is hidden until we review it. We then put it back or remove it for good.
You can also report child sexual abuse material to NCMEC's CyberTipline at report.cybertip.org. If someone is in danger right now, call your local emergency number.
To report something that isn't a Recipe, or to tell us more, reply to any email we've sent you.
Copyright complaints
If you think something on Pixie Studio infringes your copyright, reply to any email we've sent you with:
- your name and how to reach you;
- the work you own, or a link to it;
- a link to where it appears on Pixie Studio;
- a statement that you believe in good faith the use isn't authorized, that your notice is accurate, and that you own the rights or may act for the owner;
- your signature (typing your full name is fine).
When we get a valid complaint, we remove the material, and we close the accounts of repeat infringers. If something of yours was removed and you think that was a mistake, reply to our email and tell us why.
What happens when rules are broken
Depending on how serious it is, we may remove the content, hide or remove a Recipe, hold back or reverse the royalties it earned, limit what you can do, or suspend or close your account. We report child sexual abuse material to NCMEC, and we may contact law enforcement when someone is at risk of harm or the law requires it.
If you think we got it wrong, reply to any email we've sent you and we'll take another look.
